Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information My Studio Art collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
What we collect
- Contact & shipping details: name, email, shipping address, billing address, phone (optional). Provided by you at checkout.
- Payment information: processed by Shopify Payments. We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Order content: the text prompts you submit, reference images you upload, color/size/material selections, add-ons, and the AI-generated 3D mesh produced for your order.
- Device & usage data: IP address, browser, device type, referrer, pages visited, timestamps. Collected via Cloudflare and standard server logs.
- Communications: emails, support tickets, and any messages you send us.
How we use it
- To produce, review, print, and ship your order.
- To process payment and prevent fraud.
- To respond to support requests.
- To send order updates and shipping notifications.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, law enforcement requests).
- To improve the Service (using anonymized usage data and aggregated prompt statistics).
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your prompts, images, or generated 3D meshes to train AI models, ours or third parties.
- We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
Who we share with
- Shopify Inc. hosts checkout, processes payments, and stores order records. See Shopify's Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare provides DNS, CDN, and Worker hosting. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Meshy AI processes prompts and reference images to generate 3D model previews when an AI-generated mesh is required. See Meshy's Privacy Policy.
- Slant 3D (our print partner) receives the 3D mesh file, your shipping address, and order details for fulfillment.
- Shipping carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) receive your shipping address and contact info to deliver your order.
- Legal & safety: we may disclose information to comply with subpoenas, court orders, or to protect against fraud, safety risks, or illegal activity.
Retention
- Order records (including prompts and generated meshes): retained for 90 days after fulfillment for support and reprint requests, then deleted from active storage. Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained longer.
- Tax and accounting records: retained for the period required by US tax law (currently 7 years).
- Customer support emails: retained for 24 months.
- Marketing opt-ins: retained until you opt out.
AI-specific notes
When you submit a prompt, our backend sends it to (1) a router classifier model that decides whether to use procedural geometry or a generative AI model, (2) optionally, a prompt-enhancement model that rewrites your prompt for 3D printability, and (3) the 3D model generator. Reference images are sent to the same generator only.
None of these models retain your inputs for training. Prompts and images flow through them, get a response, and are then stored only in your order record on our side.
Cookies
We use a minimal set of first-party cookies for session management and basic analytics (Cloudflare's privacy-preserving analytics). Shopify checkout sets its own cookies for cart and fraud prevention. We do not run third-party tracking or advertising cookies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Object to certain uses (for example, marketing).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any right, email support@mystudioart.com from the email address associated with your order. We respond within 30 days.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are based in the United States. If you are outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US under US law. Where required, we use standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Security
We use industry-standard security practices (TLS in transit, encrypted storage at Shopify and Cloudflare, OAuth for backend access). No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the Service.
