Content & IP Policy
Last updated: May 14, 2026
This page explains what you can and cannot submit to My Studio Art, who owns what, and how we handle your content. It is in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
What you submit
When you use the Service, you may submit:
- Text prompts describing the 3D model you want printed.
- Reference images to guide the model generation.
- Order metadata (color, size, material, add-ons, shipping details).
What you can submit
- Original creative prompts and reference images that you own or have permission to use.
- Public-domain references (out-of-copyright artwork, public-domain figures).
- Designs you created yourself.
- Photos of yourself, or photos of others where you have their documented consent.
What you cannot submit
Do not submit prompts or images that:
- Infringe intellectual property. No copyrighted characters (Pokemon, Marvel, Disney, Star Wars, etc.), brand logos, trademarked marks, or proprietary product designs. Fair-use is judged at our sole discretion and we may refuse the order.
- Depict real, identifiable people without consent. This includes celebrities, politicians, public figures, and private individuals. We may ask for written consent before producing.
- Are sexually explicit, pornographic, or depict minors in sexual or suggestive contexts. CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
- Promote hate, violence, harassment, terrorism, or self-harm.
- Are weapons or weapon components. No firearms, firearm parts (lower receivers, suppressors, magazines), explosives, or other regulated items.
- Are illegal under US federal or applicable state law.
- Attempt to manipulate or exploit our systems (prompt injection, malicious payloads, bypassing safety filters).
How we handle rejected prompts
- Mild or accidental violations: we may contact you to clarify and ask for a revised prompt.
- Clear violations: the order is cancelled and refunded in full to the original payment method.
- Severe violations or repeat offenses: the order is cancelled, you may be banned from future orders, and severe content (such as suspected CSAM) is reported to law enforcement.
IP and ownership
Your inputs. You own your prompts, reference images, and anything else you submit. You grant us the rights described in the Terms of Service Section 6 to use them for fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, and Service improvement (no AI model training).
The physical print. When delivered, you own the physical printed object. You may keep it, sell it, gift it, modify it, photograph it, and share it however you like.
The digital 3D mesh. The AI-generated mesh file (GLB / STL) associated with your order is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only. We retain ownership of the mesh data. If you want a commercial-use license, contact us.
Anonymized portfolio use. We may showcase anonymized prompt-to-print results in marketing, social media, and our example gallery. Your name and personal information are never attached. If you do not want your order featured (even anonymized), email support@mystudioart.com within 30 days of delivery and we will exclude it.
No AI training
We do not use your prompts, reference images, or generated meshes to train any AI model. We have no contracts with AI providers that would allow them to use your content for training either.
Identical prompts may share a generated mesh
To keep generation fast and reduce API usage, we cache generated 3D meshes by the exact prompt + style preset used to make them. If a different customer later submits the same prompt with the same style preset within 30 days, they may receive the same cached mesh instead of waiting for a fresh generation. Once printed and delivered, each physical print is one-of-one; the digital mesh may be shared. If you want a guaranteed-unique mesh, add a personal detail to your prompt (your name, a date, a unique adjective). Reference-image generations are never cached.
Reporting violations
If you believe content on this site or in our outputs infringes your copyright or violates this policy, send a notice to support@mystudioart.com with: (i) your contact info; (ii) a description of the infringed work; (iii) the URL or order ID of the infringing content; (iv) a good-faith statement that you are authorized to act. We respond within a reasonable time.
Counter-notice
If we remove or refuse your order because of an IP complaint, you may send a counter-notice with: (i) your contact info; (ii) identification of the removed content; (iii) a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification; (iv) consent to jurisdiction. We may reinstate the order if no further action is taken.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
