What makes a 3D printed gift different

Most gifts are picked from a shelf. A custom 3D printed gift is made to order from your input: a snapshot of a pet, a couple's first apartment, a child's drawing, or a one-line idea like "a tiny lighthouse holding a candle." Nothing else like it exists, and the recipient knows it was made for them specifically.

At My Studio Art the whole thing happens in your browser. You give us a photo or a text prompt, an AI engine designs a 3D model, you preview it on screen before paying anything, and only when you are happy do you check out. We 3D print it and ship it to your door.

How to make one

1. Start with a photo or an idea. Upload a clear photo, or just describe the gift in words. Both work.
2. AI designs the 3D model. In 30 to 60 seconds you get a 3D model you can rotate and inspect.
3. Preview before paying. If it is not right, regenerate for free until it is.
4. Choose size and color. Four size tiers and 20 colors across two materials.
5. Checkout and we ship it. We review the model for printability, 3D print it, and mail it with tracking.

Gift ideas by occasion

Birthdays

A figurine of the birthday person's favorite hobby, pet, or character. For kids, turn a drawing they made into a real object they can hold.

Weddings and anniversaries

A model of the venue, the couple as small figures, the building where they first lived, or the bouquet. Cake toppers are a popular request and print well at the Small size.

Memorial keepsakes

A small, lasting sculpture from a photo of a pet or a meaningful place. Many people order these as a gift for a grieving friend or family member.

Gamers and hobbyists

Custom tabletop miniatures, a model of a character, a trophy for a tournament win, or a desk piece based on a favorite game. The Tiny and Small tiers suit minis; Medium suits display figures.

Vases, geometric sculptures, and statement pieces from a prompt. If you want a coordinated set, order the same prompt in two colors.

What you can turn into a gift

• A photo of a person, pet, building, object, or vehicle.
• A child's artwork photographed flat and described in the prompt.
• A text idea with no image at all, like "a dragon curled around a coffee mug."
• A character or theme you describe in your own words. We cannot reproduce trademarked franchise characters, but original designs in any style are welcome.

Sizes, materials, and pricing

Pricing is set by size, not by how detailed the design is, so you can experiment freely:

• Tiny (2 to 3 inches): from $18 in PLA. Keyrings, desk pieces, ornaments, tabletop minis.
• Small (4 inches): from $35 in PLA. Gift figurines, cake toppers.
• Medium (5 to 7 inches): from $70 in PLA. The most popular tier for display figures, pet models, and decor.
• Large (8 inches): from $150 in PLA. Statement display pieces and centerpieces.

Two materials: standard PLA in 16 colors, and tougher PETG in 4 colors ($25 to $200) for gifts that will be handled often. Shipping is included in every price.

When to order before a gift date

Production takes 1 to 2 business days and delivery takes 5 to 7 days. Order at least 9 to 10 days before the date you need the gift in hand. That buffer covers a free regeneration if the first design is not perfect, plus shipping. For a tight deadline, order as early as you can and keep the design simple.

Why a preview-first gift is low risk

The biggest worry with a custom gift is that it will not look right. We remove that risk by showing you the 3D model before you pay. You inspect it, rotate it, regenerate it for free if needed, and only check out once it is exactly what you pictured. If a finished print arrives with a defect, we reprint it.
