What is an AI 3D printed figurine?
An AI 3D printed figurine is a small physical figure created in three stages: an AI image-to-3D or text-to-3D engine designs the model, the model is reviewed and prepared for printing, and a 3D printer produces it in plastic. You never open CAD software or hire a modeler. You bring the idea; the AI builds the geometry.
At My Studio Art you do this from your browser. Type a prompt or upload a photo, watch the AI generate a 3D model, preview it free before you pay, pick a size and color, and we print and ship it.
Photo figurine or prompt figurine?
From a photo
Upload a picture of a pet, a person, a vehicle, or an object and the AI reconstructs it as a figure. Best for capturing something real and specific. A front-facing or three-quarter photo on a plain background gives the cleanest figurine. Our photo-to-3D guide covers the shooting rules in detail.
From a text prompt
Describe a character in words, like "a stocky space marshal in a long coat, heroic stance" and the AI invents the figure from scratch. Best for original characters, creatures, and concepts that do not exist as a photo. The more specific the pose, build, and style words, the closer the result.
Which figurine styles work best
- Stylized and cartoon figures. Chunky proportions, clear shapes, bold features. These print cleanly and read well at small sizes.
- Tabletop miniatures. Characters and creatures for games. The Tiny and Small tiers match standard mini scales.
- Realistic busts and figures. Work well at Medium size or larger, where detail has room to resolve.
- Creatures and monsters. Dragons, beasts, and original creatures are a strong fit for AI generation.
What is harder for AI to nail
- Extreme action poses. Limbs at wide angles are harder to reconstruct than a balanced, static stance.
- Very thin parts. Sword tips, antennae, and loose hair below the shoulders can fuse or need thickening for printability.
- Fine text or small logos. These usually do not survive at figurine scale.
- Trademarked franchise characters. We will not reproduce recognizable IP. Original designs in any style are welcome.

Sizes, material, and pricing
Figurines are priced by size tier, not by detail or complexity:
- Tiny (2 to 3 inches): from $18. Tabletop minis, keyring figures.
- Small (4 inches): from $35. Standard gift and display figurines.
- Medium (5 to 7 inches): from $70. The most popular tier; detail has room to show.
- Large (8 inches): from $150. Statement display figures.
Figurines print in PLA, a biodegradable bioplastic, at 0.20 mm layer height, in 16 colors. A tougher PETG option is available in 4 colors ($25 to $200) for figures that will be handled often. Shipping is included.
From AI preview to a figure on your shelf
The browser preview is the design stage. After checkout, every figurine goes through a printability review: wall-thickness check, overhang and support analysis, a stable print-orientation pass, and a scale lock to your chosen size. Then it prints on a calibrated FDM printer, gets hand-inspected for layer defects, and ships in a padded mailer with tracking. Production takes 1 to 2 business days; delivery takes 5 to 7.
